WEEKLY SCHEDULE
*Doors are open from 7:00 – 7:15 am. If you arrive after 7:15 am, you will need to buzz into the building using the main entrance.
Monday 4/14

Q4 Chair Auditions are this week. Read the schedule closely. Things have been adjusted in fit into a limited time frame.
Groups 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 have their chair audition on Monday, April 14

COLOR GUARD INFORMATION
Rehearsals during the school year are Mondays and Thursdays at 7:15am (doors open at 7am).

We are now working to perfect our routines for the spring concert on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 P.M.
Thank you for practicing your routines at home!
This is the official announcement that LHS Majorette auditions will be held on Monday, May 12 beginning at 4:30pm. All candidates will meet in the LHS Band Room and then we will go from there.
- Candidates will come and learn a routine taught by the current LHS Majorette squad. This is used to see potential of the candidates in learning a routine.
- Candidates should come with a prepared routine of 48-64 counts displaying their twirling skills. It is preferred that students do their routine to music, but is not required.
- Candidates should plan to be at Liberty anywhere from 1.5-2 hours.
- Candidates should bring a copy of their most recent report card.

Summer Instrumental Camp @ Moravian University

Highlights: The Summer Music Institute for instrumentalists offers instruction in classical ensembles, master classes, large & small ensembles, exploration sessions: music theory, music technology & drumming . Musicians entering grades 6-12 are encouraged to enroll. Students share newly developed performance skills during the final concert on Friday evening. Lunch is provided.
Classical Guitar
Highlights: The Summer Music Institute for Classical Guitar offers instruction in chamber ensembles, improving sight reading, technical abilities, tone production, flamenco technique, fretboard harmony and arranging for guitar . Musicians entering grades 9-12 are encouraged to enroll. Students share newly developed performance skills during the final concert on Friday evening. Lunch is provided.

Moravian University in conjunction with the Nitschmann Instrumental Music Association is offering a $250 scholarship to one student for the MUMI Summer Music Institute Instrumental Camp on July 7 -11, 2025. All instrumental music students are invited to apply for this wonderful opportunity.

Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and get involved in the instrumental music program. We need volunteers for parades, concerts, and many other activities.
Parents must have their clearances on file in the Nitschmann office. If you are not sure if your information is on file, contact the Nitschmann office at 610-866-5781. Signing up to volunteer is quite simple. Open up CutTime through any message you’ve received and scroll through the events. Events that need chaperones are indicated with a green notice like in the image below. Simply click on the green chaperone request and follow the prompts.

NIMAS By-Laws 2024
The next NIMAS general membership meeting is this Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 pm in the instrumental music room. Attendees should enter through the MAIN BUILDING ENTRANCE. Doors will be unlocked from 7:20 – 7:40 P.M.
8th Grade Music & Drama NYC TRIP
If your availability changes, you are responsible for full payment of the trip unless a replacement can be found to take your place.
